Office Based Opioid Treatment (OBOT)
Sunrise Treatment Center offers medication-assisted treatment (MAT) which is evidence-based to reduce or eliminate the abuse of heroin and other opiate medications. We provide strong clinical counseling as a core component of long-term, sustained sobriety in conjunction with medically supervised Suboxone® / Subutex® medication. A new arrival on the scene is the medication, Sublocade ®, a long acting, injectable buprenorphine.
Our highly trained counselors work closely with our doctors, nurses, and administrative staff. Due to this collaboration, you will receive the best possible care for your ongoing sobriety.
We also encourage individuals to engage in support groups (i.e. AA / NA, S.M.A.R.T., Rational Recovery, etc.) to maximize the benefits of sober living. Sunrise works with community partners to ensure referrals which will help maximize your overall health and continued success.
An additional extension of the basic program is once the patient is tapered from the Suboxone, we now offer Vivitrol for helping to prevent relapse by further controlling the cravings. This is administered monthly as the counseling is continued.
- Patients receive counseling services and a prescription for a buprenorphine product.
- Patients meet primarily with a counselor and have an individualized treatment plan.
- Frequency of clinic attendance is determined by clinical need and patient preference.
- Prescription patients self-pay for services.
