Earlier this year, Sunrise decided to do a fundraiser for Athens County Food Pantry in the lead up to the Super Bowl. Employees wearing Bengals gear on Friday, February 11th, were asked to donate canned foods in support of the food pantry and the Foundation for Appalachian Ohio Joe Burrow Hunger Relief Fund. Sunrise was able to donate 717 pounds of food to the food pantry, which translates to over 600 meals for families in Athens County! Donations to the relief fund were matched by Sunrise resulting in additional donations to the fund.
